This American Heart Association CPR/AED course teaches the the basic knowledge and skills that are necessary to provide effective basic life support in an emergency until emergency responders arrive. This class teaches ALL AGES including pediatric. Also included is a review of the Good Samaritan laws, standard precautions (BSI), sequence of survival (SOS) rescue breathing, one rescuer CPR, and choking for adults, children & infants. This class also teaches proper use of the AED (Automatic External Defibrillator)This program has been found acceptable for meeting the requirements established by state childcare licensing. Location: Prairie Village Community Center, 7720 Mission Road, Prairie Village, KS 66208. Fee: $70(no textbook) OR $85 (includes e-textbook). All textbooks are electronic and will be emailed within 24 hrs if ordered.
