Heartsaver CPR/AED: The Heartsaver AED Course teaches the basic techniques of adult and child CPR and the use of an automated external defibrillator (AED). The course also teaches recognizing the signs of heart attack, stroke, cardiac arrest, and foreign-body airway obstruction.
Heartsaver Adult First Aid Training with CPR and AED: The Heartsaver First Aid Course covers First Aid Basics, Medical Emergencies, Injury Emergencies, and Environmental Emergencies. The course teaches the lay rescuer the knowledge and psychomotor skills they need to recognize emergencies at the worksite and give first aid until the arrival of EMS.
Heartsaver Pediatric First Aid Training with CPR and AED: The Heartsaver Pediatric First Aid with CPR and AED Course covers all Pediatric First Aid topics with the addition of adult and pediatric CPR and using a public access defibrillator (AED). The comprehensive course teaches the rescuer the knowledge and psychomotor skills they need to recognize emergencies at the worksite, give first aid or CPR, and use an AED.
