CPR Training in 2023 and the Importance of Being Certified

CPR Training can save lives and has many benefits for individuals and workplaces. CPR Training can be used anywhere and is a lifelong skill that can be used during any emergency situation.

Occupational Health and Safety notes that a “decrease in workplace accidents is one of the most notable benefits of first aid and CPR training in the workplace.” Some employers may even benefit from insurance premium reductions by providing training to their employees.

CPR effectively keeps blood and oxygen flowing to vital organs such as the brain and heart. Without CPR training, brain death occurs approximately four to six minutes after the heart stops beating. Proper CPR techniques can help prevent brain death and increases the chances of survival.

No one is ever truly prepared for an emergency, after becoming CPR Certificied, you can feel more confident in your skills and ability to take action if or when the situation arises. We offer public CPR classes and First Aid training, even if you don’t work in the medical field.

Knowing what to do in an emergency gives confidence to yourself and to those around you. Our onsite private CPR classes train you to take charge of the situation, which prevents chaos and panic from occurring.

Being trained in CPR means you could make a difference in someone’s life when they are unable to help themselves. You never know when your training could be of use. Check out this awesome Eagle Scout story of providing CPR to a store clerk!

It is disheartening to learn that despite the proven effectiveness of rapid initiation of CPR, bystander CPR is performed less than 50% of the time outside of the hospital and AEDs are used even less often in most areas across the world, even if they are frequently available in public places. Let’s save more lives together and get you or your employees setup for CPR Certification today!
