CPR Training in 2023 and the Importance of Being Certified

CPR Training can save lives and has many benefits for individuals and workplaces. CPR Training can be used anywhere and is a lifelong skill that can be used during any emergency situation.
Occupational Health and Safety notes that a “decrease in workplace accidents is one of the most notable benefits of first aid and CPR training in the workplace.” Some employers may even benefit from insurance premium reductions by providing training to their employees.
CPR effectively keeps blood and oxygen flowing to vital organs such as the brain and heart. Without CPR training, brain death occurs approximately four to six minutes after the heart stops beating. Proper CPR techniques can help prevent brain death and increases the chances of survival.
